Recycling
Did you know that with the raw materials from 13 batteries, we can make a frame of glasses? And with 120 a watering can? Bebat gives each used battery a new life by extracting all the metals and other raw materials and reusing them in other applications.
Why is it important to recycle batteries?
Recycling batteries is not only better for nature, but better for all of us. By recycling used batteries, we contribute to:
By recycling batteries, we prevent harmful materials from being released into nature.
Important metals are recovered and reused from used batteries, which then do not have to be mined from nature. Some of these are very scarce.
By collecting, sorting and recycling batteries correctly, we prevent them from ending up among other waste fractions where they could pose a safety risk.
Which raw materials are recovered?
Batteries contain scarce raw materials such as lithium, cobalt, nickel and lead. By recycling used batteries, we can recover and reuse these important raw materials.
Lithium can be recovered from rechargeable and non-rechargeable lithium-based batteries, such as the commonly used lithium-ion batteries.
It can then be reused:
Our recyclingpartners
Bebat is careful to work only with quality processors to recycle as much materials as possible.
Our partners always use the latest and most efficient recycling technologies.
This collaboration makes it possible to recycle materials with the greatest benefit to the environment.
All our recycling partners are government-approved and meet the strictest standards.
